How B2B campaign structuring scaled Azion acquisition in Brazil and the US

See how B2B campaign structuring in Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads generated qualified growth for Azion in Brazil and the United States.

High-performance B2B campaign structuring is surgical work that does not tolerate guesswork. Recently, I led an acquisition scaling project for Azion, one of the top global players in Edge Computing, operating simultaneously in the Brazilian and US markets. The challenge was not just to generate more leads, but to generate the right demand for a highly technical product. To do this, I had to abandon generic market practices and build a media machine based on intent clusters and corporate profiling.

On the search network, the foundation of our B2B campaign structuring was Google Ads using the STAG (Single Theme Ad Groups) methodology. Instead of grouping dozens of broad keywords into the same ad group, I separated the terms into strict themes. But the real game-changer was clustering by awareness level. I created distinct campaigns for those researching the problem (top of funnel), seeking technical comparisons (middle of funnel), and looking for the exact Azion solution (bottom of funnel). This separation allowed me to control the bid and the exact message for the psychological moment of the software engineer or CTO performing the search.

LinkedIn Ads with sniper precision

When it comes to reaching enterprise accounts, Google alone is not enough. A fundamental part of this B2B campaign structuring happened on LinkedIn Ads. The common mistake here is using targeting that is too broad or relying solely on email lists. I changed the route. I clustered the target audience by crossing two critical variables: Job Functions (exact roles within engineering and infrastructure) and Company Size.

This prevented the massive budget in the United States and Brazil from being burned on students or small companies that would not be a fit to buy Edge Computing at scale. If the account did not have the necessary size or if the person was not a technical decision-maker, our ad simply did not appear to them.

Narratives and assets aligned with the cluster

Technology without copy does not convert. For this B2B campaign structuring to work, I developed specific narratives for each theme and each cluster. The CTO of a large corporation in the US saw an ad focused on security and global latency reduction. The developer in Brazil saw a technical asset focused on application performance and edge functions. We didn't use the same banner for everyone. The creative was a natural extension of the technical targeting we had done in the dashboard.

The results of this architecture were brutal. By stopping competing in generic auctions and focusing on clear intent crossed with corporate profiling, the Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) hit the company's targets, and the volume of qualified leads arriving for the sales team exploded. B2B campaign structuring proves that in the corporate game, the winner isn't the one who spends the most. The winner is the one who targets the best.
