SEO and GEO
AI visibility checklist for B2B companies
A B2B company's AI visibility depends on the engine understanding category, audience, problem and evidence. As purchasing involves research and comparison, the site needs to answer business and technical questions without hiding everything behind forms.
Positioning and entity
- Does the website state in one sentence what the company does, for whom and in what context?
- Do product, company and brand use consistent names?
- Are there about, contact, leadership and location pages?
- Do relevant profiles and directories repeat current information?
Shopping journey
- Is there content for problem, category, alternatives, implementation and risk?
- Are use cases separated by industry or function when the experience changes?
- Do integrations, requirements, security and support have accessible pages?
- Is price or business process explained to the level possible?
The absence of details forces systems and buyers to infer. Do not publish confidential information, but explain criteria, limits and process.
Evidence
- Do cases identify context, work and verifiable results?
- Data present period, sample and method?
- Are authors and experts identified?
- Do partners, customers and independent sources corroborate the actions?
Technical access
- Strategic pages respond with status 200, correct canonical and rendered text?
- Do robots,
noindex, authentication or CDN block relevant crawlers? - Sitemap and internal links point to priority pages?
- Does structured data match visible content?
For Google AI, normal SEO fundamentals remain valid; There is no special markup for GEO.
Tests and metrics
- Is there a set of questions per ICP and stage?
- Do the tests record platform, date, sources and repetitions?
- Does the company track mention, citation, competitors and accuracy?
- Are Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools and analytics configured?
Operation
- Does each important page have an owner and revision date?
- Do product, marketing, sales and support feed agendas with real knowledge?
- Is there a process to correct outdated information or incorrect description?
Use the checklist to find the most important break, not to accumulate completed items. The GEO audit shows how to transform responses into priorities.
